Okay so... I'll talk about it. Wtf was Keira Knightley wearing! I get the whole 'we're barbaric-ish/ rebellious people who live in the woods' vibe. So, I can understand why they might dress similarly to the Saxons who were (I think) a Germanic tribe (?). But why were they blue and why was Guinevere wearing that ridiculous battle outfit. I mean, seriously, didn't this take place in the middle of a crazy winter (hence the ice that was strong enough for all those men to fight/ die on)! But, I digress...
I did find this movie to be pretty historically accurate (though I am no history buff). One particularly accurate scene was that of the wintery ice battle; Britain was know for its amazing longbow and I found the surprise of the Saxons to be funny. But the one thing that bothered me was how much shiny leather Arthur's knights were wearing. Though I loved Lancelot's fancy leather checkered jacket, I didn't think that it was something to be typically worn by people in that time period. I was expecting more heavy cloth and tunic type stuff.
And last of all, I thought that the whole Arthur-Guinevere-Lancelot love triangle happened after the marriage of the first two?? Poor Lancelot died before he even got to take Guinevere from his best friend... Overall, I did enjoy this movie. There were some pretty awesome battle scenes (though what was with all that fog..), and of course I was all about the bad ass horse armor!
